The boy I never wanted....Yes I said it. I never wanted a boy, do you know what boys smell like right around the age 12? The scent of my brothers feet growing up is something I will never forget not to mention the fact that he saw no problem with eating his captain crunch while taking his morning poop. Boys are GROSS! And then there was you. You melted my heart from the first moment I looked into your crib in the hospital, unable to hold you in my arms you held my heart in your hands. You looked nothing like I imagined you looking for the 9 months you grew inside of me,your eyes were that of an Asian baby and you were huge I remember asking are you sure he is mine? 20 months later with the face of a Weber and the butt of a Kendall I know YOU ARE MINE! You are such a fun loving little boy you bring a smile to every face you come across {I'm not sure if that is because you have one very large front tooth that shows itself well every time you smile} it's sooooo you! The way you love music and stop to shake it every time you hear a tune, the way you love buzz and woody and will sit with a truck and make car noises is everything I never thought I wanted. You bring such joy to our family and truth be told.....I can't wait to smell the stink of 12 year old feet just because there yours, it stops there though I will never promote captain crunch and morning poop!
I thank God daily that he knew better then I did, you may be the boy I never wanted but God hand picked you for me and man did he do a heck of a job!!!!
