5 question Friday

1. Would you prefer having people over for dinner or going to their house?

Either way is good for me....although I don't do either one much at all.

2. Favorite Bible verse and why?

My all time Favorite is: He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
I love it because it has gotten me through a lot of hard times in my life.  It is a great reminder that God will heal in time....he never fails!!

3. What was the first concert you ever attended, and the most recent one?

The first one ever....hmmm I wanna say Michael W. Smith. The last one I went to was Dave Matthews band at the Gorge.

4. The year is 2025. What are you doing, and what have you done?

Crap, I'll be 45!!!! I will be done going to school....my daughter will be 21 and in College. My son will be 16 and driving me insane! I hope I am happy and content in life. Ready for the next chapter of life.

5. What's your favorite Easter treat?

I'm not a fan of candy and could really do without it... My fav. treat is watching my kids faces in the morning when they find their baskets and notice all the eggs in the yard that the bunny hid for them :)

Have a happy Easter! Enjoy your Kids...Enjoy your Family.....just ENJOY!!!!!

Easter!!

Oh how I LOVE Easter. I'm not sure what we are doing this year....we usually spend time with the kids cousins and have a picnic/party at the park. This year I haven't heard of any plans so it looks like it may be a quiet day with just the kiddos. I may need to find something fun for us to do. What are your Easter traditions??

Life in the Weber house has been BUSY! Emelia has baseball practice twice a week for 2 hours. It is amazing how good she is, she is such an athlete...I of course do not relate. I was a dancer for 23 years a cheerleader and an overall girly girl, only makes sense that my ONLY daughter would be a tom boy. Emelia is doing very well in school...makes for a very proud momma. She has started cursive and hates it, ahhh I remember those days! She isn't great with change so once she get's use to it I know she will be fine :)

Luke is doing so well with "potty training" I haven't really put it in full swing...I have the next 10 days off so I may do it now. He goes when HE wants to NOT when I want him to. He is turning into a little man in front of my eyes and he is the last little one I will ever have so i really don't mind the diapers. Luke and Emelia are really starting to get along, now that Luke is a bit older they play games together and she reads to him <3 it is so awesome to watch. 5 year age gap is perfect!! They play in the back yard for hours on end together and then she will get him snack and juice...I love having a mini mommy around the house :)

Well enough about me and mine. Time to start my 10 days off...what a glorious gift :)

Just a few recent pictures of my babes.

Like I said, my camera and I have not been friends for some time now, she is collecting dust.... I however decided to blow the dust off and take her for a spin!
Both my kiddos had birthdays last month so I knew it was time to get some new pictures! Here are just a few. Luke was not in the mood so I didn't push it.

And here is the same one of Luke in color

Hands

The Paper Mama Photo Challenge

The Paper mama is doing yet another awesome photo challenge and since it has been a little over FOREVER since I have entered one, I thought I may have a go at it!

This picture is of my husband and my son's {hand's}
I adore this picture! Soon my son's hands will be that of a man and once my Husbands hands were that of a boy. Time slips by so fast, little moments are BIG!!!

Its a whirl wind....

Things have been more then crazy lately. We moved into a new house. I love it here but haven't had the time to settle in. The Kids however had made this place their home from the start! Emelia has made a ton of new friends...it's a good and bad thing. She is just growing up way too fast and it's killing me!
Luke is in love with the play ground and sand box in the back yard, by the end of the day he is full of sand but happy as can be! He has decided on his own that he wants to be potty trained, I find him in the bathroom going all by himself BUT if I ask him to go all bets are off. I'm not in a rush for him to be potty trained, he is my last baby.
I have been busy trying to make the house a home, I hate living out of boxes and in a home full of bare walls. Makes me insane! We have orange  counter tops...yes folks ORANGE! Puts me in a bad mood every time I see them. Thank God Kenny does tile and they will be fixed soon!!!  Everything else is just perfect, perfect for us!
I haven't picked up my camera much at all, in fact I have kinda lost connection to the outside world and I am ok with that! I have been spending all my time with my kids. Emelia started baseball a few weeks ago and Luke starts gymnastics class soon. I have been enjoying them so much. My life has truly settled, I enjoy making dinner every night and staying up late to make SPIRT DAY outfits for my little girl....you know mommy things! We have started a routine of eating dinner together at the table, reading a devotional every night with the kids, a short story about hard decisions that kids are forced to make or things that relate to their lives, it has been amazing! Emelia really loves it and Luke asks every night for the story! Then we say our prayers...Do you know how cute it is to see a 3 year old fold his hands and thank  "Jebus" for his day...PRECIOUS! It has really brought our family closer.
<3 So I guess were just the normal boring family, but normal and boring works for me!

I have to go enjoy my day! It's cold outside so we have a fire going in the fire place, the kids are making cookies in Emelia's easy bake oven, and I'm enjoying the smell of the roast in the crock pot for our Chili lime tacos for dinner! Life is GOOD!!!
