How can SO much change in just one year?

{Christmas 2009 Luke's FIRST}
{Christmas 2010...just ONE year}

{started this post the day after Christmas....Never got to finish it, so here it is}

It's over and I'm over it! I jumped out of bed this morning with only one thing on my mind, Take down everything Christmas!! Don't get me wrong I <3 Christmas but I'm ready to move on.......okay,okay but before I do I'll fill you in on my Christmas. This year was truly one of the best, Emelia has grown from a little girl into a little lady. It's so funny because she has been 18 since she turned 4...she doesn't need anybody and she knows more then anyone! SoOOoo this year she got more "grown up" gifts and at first she was really taken back about it {NOW} every morning she wakes up puts on her dark denim fitted jeans {she wore her first pair so much that she now has 3 pairs} brushes her hair and bathes herself in the Bath and Body lotion she got from Angel {thank you} and always has me smell her. Today I pointed out  that she seemed to really love the lotion and lip gloss she got for Christmas she looked at me and said "yeah, I like being grown up besides toys are just kids stuff" She kills me. Kenny and I are in so much trouble with this girl!!!
 This year for Christmas Emelia got an ipod she wanted one so bad {I got her an older gen. shuffle}she thinks it's the best thing EVER and we all get to enjoy Justin Bieber as a family Kenny LOVES  hates Justin Bieber so its a good time :) I decided after last year that instead of Santa getting all the credit that I would make the kids "big gifts" be from mom and dad and the other gifts from Santa...Santa always gets all the credit,lol! I enjoyed the credit dang it, Emelia is STILL telling us how thankful she is for her ipod and I feel overjoyed to be able to give her what she asked for. This year I have had to face the fact that my little Emelia is growing up....long gone are the days of barbies and dora. She cares about fashion and has friends who actually come to the house now. I can already feel her slowly slipping away and before you know it her daddy will be giving her away. Life has been a pure joy since the day Emelia was born. She has a smile that can light up a room.....Every minute is one I cherish! <3
My sweet Little Luke was a BLAST this year for Christmas, of course he still has no clue about Santa or what he is all about but he knows his name and knows that Santa says "HO,HO,HO" He has an obsession for Christmas lights and didn't let a decorated house go by without a "awww,cool" or a huge laugh. He sits in his car seat and says " u see dat momma" {or he will call me Nana, that's his new thing he thinks it is so funny} Luke is talking so much I am amazed at how much he can say and how clearly he can say it. Needless to say Christmas came alive this year with him in the house and it was a blast for all of us to watch. Christmas morning was awesome we got up fairly early called Nana and Papa to come over and watch the kids open their gifts and away we went....Luke tore into each present {mostly toy story stuff} he was so excited to see everything it was precious. His favorite toy has to be his new "Rumbling Chuck" it is the cutest little Tonka dump truck that talks and shakes and spins in circles,Luke was afraid of it at first. I find him in his room now just playing with it. He is turning into such a little boy last year for Christmas the house was full of baby toys now he is playing with trucks and trains....I miss that little baby and at the same time I enjoy watching his personality blossom,this age is so fun!
Christmas was exactly as it should be this year.....Our kids are happy and healthy and we are broke and tired. Now it's on to the NEW YEAR and planning my babies 7th and 2nd birthday party {can u even believe it}

OUR Christmas 2010
Emelia got the Razor Scooter she wanted

Luke was loving every minute of Christmas morning
