{Emelia's 7th Birthday}

It all started the night before...it hit,she was going to be 7! Emelia could not wait to get to bed,just so she could wake up! I had to get a picture of my baby on the last day she will ever be 6 :(

I love the look on her face you can tell how excited she was!
We woke up the next morning and she got ready for school the clock was going to slow for her, she just could not wait to get there. With birthday cookies in tow she headed to school!
She got home and we had to do the dreaded homework and Luke colored...Em joined him when she was done,it was so sweet Luke was singing "happy dirt day" to her while he colored...sweet moments!

We planned on going to dinner with Emelia as a family {minus Luke...Emelia wanted him to stay behind} It was her day and we don't get many chances to spend time with JUST her anymore so it seemed perfect! Kenny was home sick so I took Luke to my parents and we headed to Chili's just her and I!!!!

It was so nice to sit and talk to her about whatever she wanted. She makes me laugh so hard and I always have a good time when she is around!

Em with her "Beer" and queso dip....she was so stoked to have root beer that looked like beer,oh the little things in life :)

After dinner we were stuffed but all the sudden we heard loud clapping....Happy Birthday!

Out came her birthday dessert. Her face was priceless-----> Look!

Time to think of a birthday wish!!!

Emelia dove into it Even though she is not one for sweets she ate the ice cream...

And managed to get plenty on her face.....

We had a blast and we will be doing girls night again soon!

We got home and Kenny was waiting to sing happy birthday, like I said Emelia is not one for sweets but we had to do cake, birthdays are just no fun with out it :) {hint,hint Kenny}

I told Emelia to go for it and this is what I got....

What they heck life is short...have fun with it! Luke was so confused as to why his sisters face was in the cake but he had a go at it too!

He thought it was hilarious! I have never laughed so hard :)


                       
They turned on me quick and before I knew it the cake was headed for my face...

And that is where the night ended.I had one very happy birthday girl-->

And one VERY tired little boy----->

It was the perfect night with my kids. Live.Laugh.Love. we did it all!!
